Being Tech smart with your carry on Suitcase by Bluesmart

The future is here people……..    I am always on the look out for the next best suitcase to carry on the plane with me and I think I may of found it.   I am always that person that needs to charge my iPad and iPhone and carry a portable battery charger.  I even use the Tile tracker tool to keep an eye on where my suitcase is.  With all the extras that I carry with me, The next Suitcase for me could be from Bluesmart that includes Location tracking, Bluetooth lock, USB battery charge, Smart scale and trip data app.

I love my Travel Tech accessories and to think that I can have all that I need in one suitcase could be the perfect way to travel and see the world.  When we travel we all look for Travel accessories that can help us on the way to our destinations. Could this be it?

Bluesmart Smart Carry-On Luggage

I found that my local luggage retailer is taking preorders so I have placed my order and I look forward to providing a review on this as soon as I receive it.  In the meantime have a look at the images below from BlueSmart and if you are keen to purchase one follow the Amazon link below as they are taking preorders now.

This suitcase could be the game changer that I have been looking for, I don’t think I have been this excited ever, over a suitcase 🙂  Counting the days to it arrives. The added questions to ask is the weight of the suitcase going to cause any problems being 4.2Kg and this gadget be the suit case I take with me on my travels. I look forward to answering this once it arrives and I am able to fully test how it truly performs.

Interesting … Can you use this for baggage that goes underneath the plane? And Does it tell if you if someone opens your suitcase while in transit? Are the zips the ones you can get that can’t be easily broken into with a pen? Would be great for safety reassurance that no one can plant something in your suitcase in transit 🙂

Hi Jo, Thanks for your comment. This suitcase does indeed look very interesting and I look forward to fully testing this out, once it has been released. But according to Bluesmart they say that this suitcase is ready for the travel industry claiming they’ve gotten through airport security many times with prototypes without any problems.

Bluesmart also indicates that this is “Airlines regulations approved worldwide and that this Bluesmart Technology complies with all the regulations by TSA and International entitles”. If this is the case then it should be able to go underneath the plane, which I tend to test as well.

The feature that also interests me is the “AUTOMATIC LOCK” feature which will allow your suitcase to lock itself when you step away and then can unlock when you return to it. And if it can notify you should it be opened by someone else, would definitely be added security that I would like to see as well. Once this arrives in store which I am told is January 2016, I will have a more in depth look at the zip to confirm how secure it is.

Thanks again for visiting boardingpassjourneys.com and I look forward to providing more details on this suitcase soon. 🙂

Hi Jo, I have more information on the Bluesmart case. According to Bluesmart the carry-on should be stowed away in the overhead bin. If your case is too heavy and you decide to check it in, they suggest that you lock it before letting it out of your sight. However, should TSA officials need to open your luggage, they have a universal key to unlock it. As long as you are connected to the internet with your bluetooth turned on, you will see that your carry-on through the App to see if its unlocked. Also, the suitcase is quite durable with double stitched lining. Hope this answers some of your questions. 🙂 Have a great day
